October 2003
- Over the next few weeks, we will be upgrading the ECF system. This will result in a period of downtime while the system is being upgraded. Advance notice of the interruption of service will be posted here and sent via email to all registered users of the CM/ECF system. Users of bankruptcy filing software may wish to check with their vendor to see if they need an upgrade to be compatible with version 2 of ECF.

- The project schedule calls for staff automation and
educational training to occur this summer.
- We recently received the computer equipment necessary to
manage the behind-the-scenes database issues.
- The current project plan also anticipates focus group meetings
with the bar in the fall.

perform overall project management duties.
- Our Automation Staff, led by Andy Bach, will manage technical
and customer support issues.

November 2000
- We were recently advised that our court has been selected for
the third phase of the national court effort to implement ECF.
We are tentatively scheduled to begin work in the late fall of
2001.
- A conference call with all courts will be held in January

scheduling and guidance on focus groups and technology issues.
|
October 2000
- Our Administrative Office recently solicited applications from
all 90 bankruptcy courts to determine the order of
implementation. To date, we are among 27 courts requesting
early consideration. We estimate six courts will receive
approval to begin the transition process in the spring of 2001;
thereafter the system will be "rolled out" in waves of
4-6 courts.
